Yolanda Vargas Dulche

Yolanda Vargas Dulché was a Mexican writer and comic book creator, best known for the creation of Memín Pinguín and various telenovelas for Mexican television. She began her career as a singer, journalist, and mother, but later became a successful businesswoman and producer. She published over 60 stories, many of which were adapted for television and film. She was considered the "Queen of the Comic Books" in Mexico and one of the most widely read writers in the country. She died in 1999, leaving behind a legacy of popular and influential works.
