Edith Gonzalez

Edith González was a Mexican actress who began her career as a child star in the 1970s. She rose to fame with her roles in telenovelas such as Los ricos también lloran, Bianca Vidal, Corazón salvaje, Salomé, and Doña Bárbara. She also appeared in films such as Trampa Infernal, Salón México, and Deseo. She was regarded as one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in Mexican cinema. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2016 and underwent treatment. She continued working until 2019, when she died at the age of 54. She was married to economist Lorenzo Lazo and had a daughter, Constanza, from a previous relationship with politician Santiago Creel. She was known for her charisma, elegance, and courage.
