About me / Bio:
Prince Chula Chakrabongse of Thailand was a member of the royal family of the Chakri dynasty and the House of Chakkraphong. Born on March 28, 1908, in Bangkok, he was the only child of Prince Chakrabongse Bhuvanath and his Russian wife Catherine Desnitski. Educated in the United Kingdom, he attended Harrow School and graduated from Trinity College, University of Cambridge. A man of diverse interests, Prince Chula was an author, writing several books on Thai history and motor racing, and a motor-racing enthusiast, managing his own racing team. He married Elisabeth Hunter in 1938, and they had one daughter, Narisa Chakrabongse. Prince Chula passed away on December 30, 1963, in Cornwall, England.
