Elsina Hidersha

Elsina Hidersha, better known as Emmy, was an Albanian singer who rose to fame with her hit songs such as “Loje fjalesh”, "Pse të dua ty", "A ma jep", "Rastësisht u pamë", and "Let It Play". She started singing at a young age and participated in various festivals and competitions. She was also a model and a TV presenter. She was considered one of the most popular and influential singers in Albania, and was often called the "pop princess" and the "Albanian pop icon". She died tragically at the age of 21, when she was hit by a car allegedly driven by her ex-boyfriend, a Kosovar businessman named Aziz Kelmendi. The police suspected that the incident was intentional and motivated by jealousy. She was taken to the hospital with severe brain damage and skull fractures, and died two days later. Her death shocked the Albanian public and sparked a debate about domestic violence and women's rights. She was buried in Tirana, where thousands of fans and celebrities attended her funeral. She is remembered as one of the most talented and beloved singers in Albanian history.
