Allama Khalid Mahmood

Allama Khalid Mahmood was a Pakistani-born British Islamic scholar and jurist. He served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Shariat Appellate Bench. He was the founder and director of the Islamic Academy and the City Jamia Masjid in Manchester, England. He was best known for his works related to the finality of the prophethood and the refutation of Qadianism and Barelwism. He wrote more than 100 books and delivered thousands of lectures on various topics of Islam. He was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) by the President of Pakistan in 2005. He died at the age of 94 in Manchester on 14 May 2020.
